April 03, 2014 | Key West, Florida | Weddings
When Jeff and Andrea told me they'd decided to have their wedding in one of their favorite places in the world, Key West (where they met!), I can't tell you how excited I was! Living so far from the beach in this landlocked city of Austin is somewhat torturous for a Kiwi. One of the first things you smell when you land in Key West is the ocean - JOY! The small 7.4 sq mile island is something like a tropical New Orleans and incredibly fun. With the chickens roaming the streets, bras stapled to the ceilings in bars, delicious margaritas everywhere, pirates, and even a house full of six toed cats (I love cats), we had a blast.
Needless to say their day was unique and just perfectly them. A group of their closest friends and family came to celebrate and they were even lucky enough to be able to have Jeff's dad marry them. It was a very special experience. Thank you both. I was truly honored to be a part of it.
